In sum, defects can be divided into three levels according to severity.
Critical non-conformity defect: non-conformity with mandatory statutes and/or influence end-user’s safety during use.
Major non-conformity defect: Obvious appearance defect which may cause product failure, degrade product use and influence product sales.
Minor non-conformity defect: Defect without influence to product use but possible influence to the product sales or with difference to designated quality standards.
